On Wednesday 25th November author and illustrator Roxie Munro visited Hisar Campus. She showed our students many slides of her nonfiction books on bugs, birds and snakes and explained how she created these books. Roxie showed her storyboards and how she developed her ideas and illustrations.
Our students asked Roxie many questions about her work. One question was – why do you only write nonfiction books? To which Roxie replied that she was curious about so many things in the world that she hasn’t run out of interesting things to write about.
We have some of Roxie’s books in our library – particularly the one about bugs. Her books are also available on Tumblebooks. Thanks for coming to visit with us Roxie.
